They will be required to build and maintain an internal legal document database. They will also work with the RAD-owned Companies in the USA, Ontario and China and collaborate with local agencies.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have strong legal and business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 40px 0;\"><strong>The Company<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>New World Technologies Inc. We don\u2019t just manufacture great tools; we ensure quality from conception through to production, and even years after initial use.<\/p>\n<p>More information about us and the products available at <a href=\"https:\/\/dev.radtorque.com\">dev.radtorque.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Values:<\/strong> Innovative, Responsive, Passionate, Dependable, Quality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 40px 0;\"><strong>The Role and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><i>Commercial &amp; Contract Law<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft and review a wide range of commercial contracts including supply agreements, distribution agreements, engineering service contracts, employment contracts and NDAs.<\/li>\n<li>Support cross-border transactions and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export controls.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to international attestation and authorization requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Corporate &amp; Regulatory Compliance<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advise on corporate governance, regulatory filings, and compliance with local and international laws (e.g., anti-bribery, competition law, product liability).<\/li>\n<li>Monitor changes in legislation relevant to the company\u2019s operations and ensure timely implementation of compliance measures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to international compliance for money laundering and other regulations<\/li>\n<li>Annual reporting in Canada and other jurisdictions for Forced labour and money laundering<\/li>\n<li>Management and support of external legal firms in various jurisdictions to ensure we are complaint in all markets we operate in. (things like annual reports and business licenses)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Risk Management &amp; Dispute Resolution<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration in coordination with external counsel.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and deliver training programs on legal and compliance topics to management on an as needed basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Intellectual Property<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Employment &amp; Labor Law<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide legal support on employment matters, including contracts, terminations, and compliance with labor laws in various jurisdictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 40px 0;\"><strong>The Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post-Secondary degree in a relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree; licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction.<\/li>\n<li>Active Bar admission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Experience:<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4\u20139 years of legal experience.
